The Moments were a New Jersey soul vocal group who recorded for Sylvia Robinson's All Platinum / Stang label through the 1970s. Smooth, unhurried harmonies over classic soul arrangements — this is Sunday afternoon music.
"Love on a Two-Way Street" (1970) is their signature and a deeply sampled track. "Sexy Mama" and "Dolly My Love" rounded out their run of charting singles. Stang 45s are the format of choice for collectors — affordable entry point, huge catalog to explore.
Later, the group evolved into Ray, Goodman & Brown and kept recording into the 1980s.
